Late 17th Century French wedding box, attributed to César Bagard, Nancy, finely carved with The Pelican in her Piety beneath inscription "JE MEURS D'AMOUR POUR VOUS [I am dying of love for you].
9.5cm high, 17cm wide and 11.5cm deep.
